Up, Up, and Away

So, I have been catching a lot of grief because I have not posted in so long, but honestly, I really just do not have time!! Anyway, these pics were taken awhile ago when my fabulous brother-in-law to be helped take two dump truck loads of dirt out of our back yard!! (we were having a flooding problem) Bert kept trying to get the boys to take a ride and they were just a little chicken so Pa told them he would ride with them. Needless to say, Sam was still a little scared and Max wanted to do it some more!! Ben missed out on all the fun!!

For Katie's Sake

Katie, just for the record. I was not saying that you were complaining (I really did not think that you were). I was just saying that everyone else was commenting on what a trooper you were, I am was just saying that it was really not that big of a deal. That's all. And I was just kidding anyway!!

The Lake

Okay, so I am a little late with the labor day camping trip post. I always forget to even get my camera out and I probably would not have even taken a lot of these except that Katie told me to go and get my camera!! And just for the record, everybody keeps telling Katie how much of a trooper she was for camping pregnant. Annie and I both camped nine months pregnant. Katie was sleeping in a nice cozy camper in a padded bed. She really did not have it that rough. Although everyone was glad she was there!!

Haircut

Okay, I know these are old pictures but I just had to post them. Ben was born with a huge amount of dark hair on his head and Chad just kept insisting that he needed a hair cut. So, when he was about 9 weeks old we went to the beauty shop for a trim (we took off about 3/4's of an inch). He was such a good sport until he got tired of his head being held perfectly still. It makes me laugh because at one point there were four people helping to cut one infants hair!!

Go Boomers

Ben attended his first Boomer football game on Friday night. He was such a good baby until the very end of the game and he puked all over everything!!! He is wearing a Boomer shirt that has been passed from Boomer fan to Boomer fan for the last 18 years. We hope to keep the tradition going!!
