Flashback (one week)

It has taken me so long to post these Valentine party pics that I feel like it should be a flashback :) Anyway, I just thought I would share some photos of the boys and their parties. They came home with a bunch of loot and they are still devouring it!

Here is Sam and his cheesy grin (he loves these hats they made and will not let me get rid of it!)

Max does not like me taking his picture, so I just have to snap away and he pretends like I am not even there.

Max and his crew. These boys are so funny!! Poor Mrs. Stone probably is tired by the time class is over!
Here they are posing with their bags full of goodies!

Progress is happening!

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are still working on the kitchen makeover. My mother did not want me to post this picture, but oh well.
These are the things that have been finished:
old lights taken down
sheet rock holes patched
sheet rocked taped
wiring completed for new light fixtures
one fixture hung
old trim taken off of top of cabinets

These are the things that still need to be done:
finish texturing (will be done thanks to my mom)
paint
put new trim on cabinets
paint trim
put up second light fixture

Hopefully, it will not be to terribly long before I can post completed pictures!
Happy Valentines Day!

Sam's half birthday!

On Wednesday Sam celebrated his half birthday at Free Spirit Preschool. All of the children with summer birthdays get to have a "half" birthday during the school year. Sam was pretty excited. This first picture is of the class singing to him, it was so funny because he acted like he was embarrassed. Right before this picture was taken he was singing a song in front of the entire class by himself, so I don't think he really gets embarrassed easily.

Sam's teachers gave him a gift bag full of goodies and this is Sam embarrassed about everyone watching him open it (book was included).
Sam chose to take individual ice cream cups to share with everyone at school. It was a big hit.

Here is a picture of Sam being the model student that he always is. (I really hope that I am not jinxing myself on how good of a kid he is!)
