WARNING!!
This is a warning to mother's who have small boys. Don't spend to much money on pants, they just tear them up. Max has put a whole in every single pair of pants that he owned this winter. This is just an example of a few of them, there are several more pair that did not make the picture! He actually has one pair of khakis that I only allowed him to wear to church and then I made him take them off immediately when we came home. Why are the holes just in the right knee? I have no idea, but it makes me pretty angry! Sometimes it takes just 1 or 2 times to wear the pants and they look like this. So much for hand me downs.

I guess it's not just boys, girls with a good sense of adventure have the same problem. Payton's jeans are the same way. But luckily she grows so fast we have to buy jeans twice a winter & I don't have to see those unsightly holes for very long.
In the middle of the winter I began to patch a select few pairs of jeans then told him he had school jeans and play jeans. Caden can under no circumstances play outside in his school jeans. That helped the problem tremendously! Carter and Cole will have the same rule I guess.
Kara, just so you know. A lot of these holes did not happen outside! The child is ruthless inside as well!
I know this story oh so well!! Reece actually tore up more pants inside than outside. I could never understand just what he was doing to tear so many holes in the knees of his pants!!! With 3 boys, I bet you go through a few thousand pairs of pants.
I HEAR YA GIRL!!! I GET SO ANGRY WHEN I RUN ACROSS THIS PROBLEM MYSELF!! BRETTN WANTS TO EVEN WEAR JEANS IN THIS HOT WEATHER AND I TOLD HIM HE HAD NO JEANS AND I TOOK THEM ALL OUT AND CUT THEM INTO SHORTS AND WHAT A GREAT PAIR OF SHORTS TO PLAY IN DURING THE SUMMER. HE IS NOT HAPPY WITH ME BUT MAYBE HE WILL TAKE BETTER CARE OF THEM NEXT WINTER.
