Fessing Up!

I feel like I have some explaining to do about a couple of things, especially after reading the comments on my last post.

1. First of all if it was up to me I would not let Sam wear that little itty bitty tight tank top. The funny thing about it is that Max got it and some matching boxers for his birthday last year and it is now to little (obviously). Several weeks ago I went into the boy's bedroom and Max is tugging as hard as he can to get that shirt on Sam. He said it was to little for him so he was passing it on. Little does he realized Sam may be younger but he is bigger!! I have put it away twice, they keep finding it.

2. Okay here goes, "I never make beds". The truth is Max's bed never gets unmade. For some odd reason he sleeps on top of his comforter, he just wants his sheets. It does make his room look neater. Here is a another funny story about that. At Cubbies last Wed. the lesson was about helping. The last activity was a coloring sheet with scenes about helping around the house (trash, sweeping, dusting, bed making, etc.). As Max's teacher is discussing the ways the children can help around the house Max proceeds to point to the bed making picture and inform his teacher that "We don't do that at our house, my mom doesn't even do that at our house." Nice, huh? He then proceeds to say that "My mom does make me make my bed when we have a birthday party."

Well, now that I have gotten that off of my chest I feel a little better!!

Okay laughing out loud at Max's comment in cubbies! That is sooo funny!! Why do we ever teach our kids to talk?? Nevertheless, you have inspired me and I have made the kids bed the last 2 out of 5 days, and I now make Brenden sleep on top of the blankets for naptime so he doesn't mess it up :)

I hope Caden doesn't share all my dark secrets! I might be in trouble! What is the point in making a bed anyway, you are just getting back in it! I might pull of the covers to make it look nicer, but that is pushing it!

Payton sleeps on top of her comforter too, with a blanket. I've tried and tried to get her under the stupid thing, but she just won't have it. So you're not alone there. =o) BTW your kids stories are quite cute & I'm sure the teacher takes everything her students say with a grain of salt.

How funny and honest of you! I like Sam's tight tank, you shouldn't hide it from him he's stylin when he wears it. How gross is this- Lily LOVES to make her bed, she does so almost everyday and I have never asked her too!!

I LOVE THE COMMENTS TO THE TEACHER IN CUBBIES. I JUST WONDER WHAT MY CHILDREN ARE SAYING BEHIND MY BACK? I DON'T WORRY SO MUCH ABOUT WHAT I HAVE TAUGHT MY CHILDREN AS I DO WITH WHAT SHAHN HAS TAUGHT MY CHILDREN. IT SCARES ME!! WHAT CAN YOU DO BESIDES...SMILE. I JUST HAVE TO ACT STUPID SOMETIMES WHEN PEOPLE ASK ME ABOUT SOMETHING MY CHILDREN HAS SAID AND IF I CAN'T GET BY WITH IT....I BLAME IT ON MY BROTHER...THAT IS THE FIX OF EVERYTHING SO IF ALL ELSE FELLS BLAME YOUR SISTER...THEY WON'T KNOW WHICH ONE HUH?

I love the tank. I was not making fun! Hollace wears clothes that do not fit and /or match every night. You should see some of her pajamas!
