OH MY!
That is what I thought when I got home from work today. Chad was off and I guess he got ambitious. We had (somewhat still have) dropped lighting in our kitchen that I really, really hate and I told Chad that for my birthday (February 13th) I wanted the kitchen lighting redone. Well, I guess he took me seriously. I will just be absolutely surprised if this is completed by my birthday because Chad and I are not the "getter done" kind of people I wish we were. I truly hope that my kitchen does not look like this for an extended amount of time!

I'm so sorry that you didn't reveal that your kitchen ceiling had already been textured. that happened to us when we took down the ugly dropped ceiling and it was a godsend. but perservere, my friend, cause the vast change will be SO worth it. I know from experience!
I can't wait to see the finished project!!
I'm sure it will look great, though I'm glad I'm not the one that came home to a project not completed, I am one of "those" people you mentioned. But it shouldn't be too hard to complete. Good luck!
send the kids over if you need them out of your hair for a bit! they can always come jump for hours on end :)
keep the pics coming...can't wait to see the finished product. love the cabinets, btw....
