To punish or not

to punish. That is the question. As you can see we now have a broken light fixture on our ceiling fan in the living room. This was a result of Max throwing a football across the room. Here's the dilemma. I was the recipient of said ball, and I told him to throw it to me, after I had tossed it to him. Can't really punish a kid for throwing ball in the house when you are throwing with him can you?

The sad part was, I never did get on to him, but he just kept apologizing "I'm sorry mom, I didn't mean to hit the light." It made me feel pretty guilty. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Labor Day Weekend and hopefully when we get back from the lake I will have some fun pictures to post.

No...you know you can't punish a sweet boy for throwing a football in the living room. Especially since you told him to! I hope you all have a great weekend.

You're the one who should be in trouble for throwing balls in the house. Wasn't it you that broke my nose throwing a softball at me? I should warn your kids....

I say "No Deal Mandy!" Guilt is the best punishment after all! Lol

You can't punish that lil angel for playing ball in the house WITH YOU. I vote for making him a batch of cookies. He looks like a sweet lil guy.
